With our online Drop Box, you can upload files to the ISHS online file server anytime!
Using your web browser, you can upload a file to our server. You will receive a link to put in your email message. The recipient can click the link to download your file. Files are available for 7 days.
A progress bar will appear, showing how much time is remaining before the upload is complete
(Note that with large files, there may be a delay where it reports 100% transfered, but nothing is happening. Give it a minute or two to finish processing.)
Copy the link into your email message
Select the contents of the text box with your mouse
Click "Edit...Copy"
Switch to your email program and click where you want the link
Click "Edit...Paste"
Upload Instructions
If you are submitting a video file, save it in one of the following formats
AVI
WMV
MOV
MP4 (Mpeg 4)
Open the Dropbox by clicking the mailbox image on the right side of your screen.
Click “Browse” to select your file.
Once you have selected a file with the “Browse” feature, another “Browse” button will appear on your screen, immediately below the first one. If you have another file to submit, select it with the second browse button. “Browse” buttons will continue to appear as files are selected, allowing you to select additional files.
Once you have selected all of the files you need to submit, click “Begin Upload.”
Wait until a message appears on your screen saying “Your Upload is Complete.” This message will provide URL(s) to your file(s) so they can be viewed online. There will be a separate URL for each file.
Copy the URL for each file and paste it into the textbox, document, or Email that you are going to use to submit it:
Select each URL completely with your mouse (copy only URL(s); you do NOT need the HTML code or BB code information).
Click “Edit...Copy.”
Switch to the place where you want to paste the URL.
Click “Edit...Paste.”
Submit your textbox, document, or Email. Your teacher will use the URL(s) to access your file(s) online. Be sure to copy and paste your URL(s) BEFORE you close the Dropbox page on your desktop.
NOTE: If you experience difficulty or long delays in uploading, you may need to compress your video files. You may use a freeware program available online. Recommended ones are:
