Graduation
Graduation is a momentous achievement in a student’s life, a time to enjoy with family and friends and we’d like to help you celebrate. Our students earn their diplomas throughout the year, and we set aside a special day in June to honor them. Be a part of our commencement ceremony – don cap and gown, walk down the aisle to “Pomp and Circumstance,” and share a few words of reflection as you mark your great accomplishment. After the ceremony, join your family and friends for a reception hosted by ISHS faculty and staff. We look forward to graduation and have lots of fun activities planned. We hope you plan to bring your family and friends, and experience the commencement ceremony, beautiful UNL campus and welcoming Lincoln community. 2009 Graduation Ceremony/Reception, June 12, 2009 Graduates who have completed their high school diploma requirements from July 1, 2008 through June 12, 2009 may participate in the Ceremony/Reception. Invitations will be issued from the high school. Students who are enrolled in their last course, who have made significant progress and could complete graduation requirements at the time of the ceremony may also participate. Graduation announcements, cap and gown, etc., may be purchased from CB Graduation Announcements online or by phone (800) 433-0296. Lincoln has a vibrant downtown which is adjacent to the UNL campus.
